Wicked Daughter Let Me Teach You A Lesson Novel by LaDessa Morgan

Chapter 3

In my past life, I refused to let Sofia be examined. I felt it was an insult to her.NôvelDrama.Org owns © this.

Sofia cried and said she was scared. This made me feel even more heartbroken.

For Sofia, I became so unreasonable that I even dared to confront the police.

The police took a long time to investigate. It delayed the time it took to uncover the truth.

But now, I pushed her toward the police. “She hasn’t showered yet. You can take her directly for an examination to gather evidence,” I said.

Sofia stared at me with tearful eyes. “I don’t want to. I’m scared,” she said.

No matter how much she acted pitiful, I made it clear that we would listen to the police.

Sofia knew that if she went, the truth would be exposed. She clung to my hand and refused to let go.

She said anxiously, “If you make me go, I’ll hate you forever.”

No matter how much she threatened, I pretended not to hear.

If she didn’t recognize me, it was exactly what I wanted.

Sofia got scared. She pointed at me and shouted, “Leo didn’t bully me.”

“It was my mom. She taught me to say that,” she said.

“She said she liked Leo, but he didn’t accept,” she added.

These words were even more shocking than Sofia accusing Leo of assault.

In her panic, Sofia couldn’t come up with another excuse.

I had just distanced myself from the situation, and Sofia pulled this stunt. It was like she was slapping herself in the face.

Everyone in the room looked at each other. My face felt hot with embarrassment.

I bowed sincerely once more. “I apologize for my failed parenting and the trouble it caused you before,” I said.

“In the past, I spoiled her too much. I never doubted her words, never expected that she had become a habitual liar,” I said.

Everyone suddenly pretended to be busy and averted their gazes.

No one reply, and I thought it was normal.

After all, their prejudice against me had built up over time. A few words from me wouldn’t change that.

Seeing that Sofia confessed on her own, the police scolded her briefly and then left.

Sofia had her lies questioned for the first time. She thought it was all my fault.

She looked at me as if she wanted to tear me apart.

Sofia’s true nature was exposed at school without me to protect her.

Leo called me. He said she was being isolated and shunned by everyone at school.

Seeing Sofia come home more irritable each day after school, I couldn’t help but feel a bit eager.

I had only just started collecting interest, and she was already falling apart.

I hoped she could bear the ultimate price in the end.
