Chapter 11: 10
Chapter 11: 10
"I immediately ordered a ticket when you called," said Samudra. He had just arrived in front of the hotel
Farrell was staying in. Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
"You are the best, ocean." said Farrel while punching the small shoulder of the Ocean.
"Ocean, ocean. If there is a Vale here, I can be sure you will fight just because of that call." Ocean
grunts.
Farrel chuckled, "How's Vale and your son, by the way?"
"Well, they're both healthy. You know what? My son is very handsome." Ocean flashed a proud smile.
"Then, who's keeping them there?"
"There is Vanesha who every day helps take care of my son."
"Vanesha?" Farrel raised an eyebrow.
"Maybe you forgot, she is Valerie's cousin. Raditya Dharmawangsa's wife." Ocean shrugged. "No
wonder if you forget, you're forgetful."
Farrel chuckled, "I can't wait to see your son."
"He's very handsome, like me." Ocean chuckled.
"Really? What's his name?" asked Farrell.
"Bara Jason Alcander, Valerie is so insistent on giving up that name." complained Ocean. "That name
makes me imagine a bad boy, Bara." he shook his head.
"What nonsense, you." Farrel chuckled. "Sayings are prayers, say only good things to your child."
"Well, there you have it." replied the flat Ocean. "So, what's wrong with you telling me to come here?"
"I've got my memories back, Sam." said Farrel who immediately made Samudra stand up from his seat.
"Are you serious? Have you remembered everything? Including your wife who disappeared five years
ago?" The ocean gripped Farrell's shoulder tightly. "Tell me, what do you remember?"
"I am married?" Farrel stared at Ocean in confusion.
"You, don't remember?" asked Samudra, confused. Then, he rubbed his face roughly. "You tricked me,
damn it."
"Tell me, Sam. What really happened to me?" Farrel gripped Ocean's shoulders tightly. "Who is the
woman who keeps coming to my dreams? Who is she? Is she my wife, are you saying that? Explain to
me, Sam! Why are you all making me such a fool, here ?!"
"I can't tell you."
"Why?!" shouted Farrel in frustration.
"It will endanger you!" snapped the Ocean. "No one should tell you anything about your past, Rel. No
one should."
"But why? I deserve to know everything!"
"It is enough." The ocean released Farrell's grip. "You're just wasting my time."
"Wasting your time? You don't want to help me, Sam?" Farrel laughed bitterly.
"I don't want to help you, I just want to save you." Ocean replied, looking away. "During this time, I
always help you without you knowing."
Farrel chuckled, "what are you helping?"
"You don't need to know." replied Ocean sarcasm.
"Sam," Farrel sighed heavily. "I just want to know, who is the woman who always haunts me in my
dreams. What really happened to me, and if I had a wife ... I would leave Sherly for her. Tell me, Sam.
Where is she?"
"I can't say anything. It would endanger yourself, I don't want anything to happen to you." Ocean
tapped Farrell on the shoulder. "I'll be back in Indonesia tomorrow, you can call me again if you really
remember everything."
"How can I remember everything, if there's nothing to help me remember ?!"
"I believe you can, if fate says you can, then you will. Either way."
Samudra patted Farrel's shoulder, after which the man came out of his friend's room. Leaving Farrel
still in place, trying to remember everything he had forgotten, even if accidentally.
After Samudra left, Farrel was silent. The man was still trying hard to think about what Samudra said,
he tried to scrape back his old memory that he had forgotten for a long time.
Everything got more and more complicated, ever since that dream came. A dream that keeps him lulled
every night. About the story of a girl's adolescence whose name he doesn't know, even Farrel is also
confused about why he could be the main character in that dream.
Farrel is confused, that girl is not Sherly or one of the women who have been close to him. Then, who
is that girl? The girl who always accompanies her sweet dreams, who is always present with a sweet
smile and a beautiful face, especially when she is sulking. That dream, as if real.
Farrel ruffled his hair in frustration. He was about to move to the bathroom, if he could refresh his body
and mind, but the knock on the door made him stop.
He turned the bow towards the door, the man immediately turned the knob of the lock, and Sherly
appeared with a large paper bag containing the dress she wanted this afternoon.
"I love you, I love you!" Sherly immediately hugged Farrel tightly, she was very happy because her wish
had been fulfilled.
It would be a lie if Farrel said 'I love you too', because in fact, this relationship was based on the
business relationship that existed between Grandpa S. herly and Farrel, with the condition that Farrel
must want to marry and Sherly.
"You like?" asked Farrel softly, hiding his irritated face.
"Of course," Sherly let go of his hug. "I chose it, of course I really like it."
"In that case, good." Farrel smiled faintly.
The man looked at Sherly, then sighed heavily. If his memory returns, there will be many parties who
will be hurt. Especially if what Samudra says is true, about him having a wife.
Farrel does not love Sherly, even though the girl has loved him very much. But, that doesn't mean
Farrell can hurt him. Sherly was too fragile, for Farrel to hurt.
"I was suspicious, you must have ignored me on purpose." Sherly pursed her lips. "Your surprise this
time is too much!"
Farrell's eyebrows rose one. "Surprise?"
Sherly nodded her head. "This is all a surprise, right? First you abandon me, act mean, then you give
gifts. It's my birthday."
Even Farrel forgot that the woman in front of him was having a birthday.
"Of course, this is all a surprise." Farrel kissed Sherly on the forehead. "Happy Birthday."
Sherly's cheeks flushed. "Thank you."
"Anything for you."
Sherly hugged the man in front of her again, she really loved Farrel. More than he loved himself, and
the thing he was most afraid of in this world was not if Farrell left him, but when Farrel regained his
memories.
