The CCEO’s Hidden Identity

7:

“OH, why are you still here, Guardie?” Euna had not even gotten off Red’s motorcycle when she immediately noticed that the night shift guard on duty of the convenience store had not yet returned home that morning.

“Yes, Euna, I’m still waiting for another guard that my agency will send here as a replacement for Rob. They will deliver it to the client for an interview later, so it’s safe to say that the start of the duty of our new guard is still tomorrow.”

“Ah, so, Rob has left? Did he resign?” she asked one after another. Then she gave her boyfriend Red a questioning look.

“Ahm, yeah, yeah, Rob has resigned from their agency. He has started another job. I didn’t mention to you that he continued in the job he transferred to,” Red said even though she’s not asking him yet.

“Ah… really… Oh, no, it’s good for Rob. He won’t be afraid of losing his job anymore. Poor Guardie.”

“It’s okay, Euna. Oh, it’s nothing. This is really part of our job.”

“By the way, did they let you take a nap last night?” she joked to the lady guard who just laughed.

They sleep even for two or three hours. That’s the usual for the night shift duty there. There is no such person who stays awake for long at night when our bodies should be sleeping, anyway.

He turned to Red, who was still there and hadn’t left.

“Why haven’t you left yet?” Euna asked her boyfriend.

Red pulled her palm and kissed the back of it. That’s his habit when she feels a little annoyed or off about what he has done. But of course, now it’s different from the petty things she hated before.

“I’m leaving, you’re kicking me out.” He flinched her nose jokingly.

She just let him go and didn’t say anything to him.

Yes, she hates that he didn’t mention anything to her about Rob, that is impossible for him to forget because she keeps asking questions about it, that Red always avoids answering and that’s the problem-He avoids answering. She will accept his explanation, whatever it is but the thing is he wouldn’t let her know anything about it. Why is that?

It’s not Red who helps Rob to get another job that annoys him, but his obvious avoidance of his questions about it.

Questions playing in her mind like, why is he keeping to her where Rob works? Why is Rob able to move so quickly when she clearly heard last time that he doesn’t have a driver’s license…?

She wondered big time.

If her boyfriend answers her questions, she won’t think about anything. But the case, he preferred to avoid the questions that troubled her so he would suffer from her annoyance.

So far, that was the first time she was seriously annoyed with her boyfriend. That’s why she didn’t answer him earlier.

RED won’t be able to pick her up tonight. He said through text message that he couldn’t come to an agreement and that he had something important to go to.

It wasn’t the first time he hadn’t picked her up when they were together. He also does not oblige her to pick her up or drop her off because she can handle herself and she is not the type of woman who is weak and dependent on a man.

Anyway, the important thing is that you said that you can’t come to an agreement. That’s one of her boyfriend duties.

In a relationship, you must have a broad understanding and you don’t forget that as long as you go on and what you have deepens, you still have your own life so you don’t suffocate each other. That’s one of the keys to a healthy relationship.

But it’s okay to sulk because she was already sulking earlier in the morning.

Even though it wasn’t the first time he didn’t pick her up, it was the first time he didn’t pick her up when they had a fight.

“You guys are really quiet when there’s Hen’s Donuts.” Shaking her head, Euna greeted Ian, Arabella and Reyna.

They wake up early every Sunday and they all go to church. Sunday is their family day.

Today is their day off. She already knows that Red came to their house last night while she was sleeping because she noticed that her housemates had Hen’s Donuts. That’s Res favorite ‘pasalubong’ for her niece and nephew.

“Hen’s Donuts is life!” Euna just ruffled her niece Arabella’s hair in response.

“Red didn’t wake you up last night and he came home at eleven,” said Reyna, she also looked at her meaningfully.

Euna rolled her eyes. The look that Reyna gave her said that she knew that she and Red had a problem.

She really won’t wake me up because I didn’t reply to him, he knew I wouldn’t wake me up either-she was supposed to answer Reyna, but she decided to keep it to herself and just went to the bathroom.

“Good morning, Babe…”

Well, it turns out that her boyfriend is already awake and there, a cup of coffee has been prepared for her by him.

Reyna loudly swallowed to get their attention. “Ah, we’ll leave you here for now, I’ll just dress up the children upstairs,” she said goodbye, without waiting for their answer. She led Ian and Arabella upstairs.Exclusive © material by Nô(/v)elDrama.Org.

She noticed that Red was already dressed. He’s ready to go to church with them. She was the only one who hadn’t dressed up yet.

It looks like they’re going to go to eight o’clock mass and she’s going to act a little more with her boyfriend- of course! And she knew Reyna knew that so she left them there.

When Red moved the monoblock chair he was sitting on closer to her back, she immediately smelled the perfume of him-now that his arms were wrapped around her waist and his chin rested on her shoulder-so she inhaled more of his fragrance.

Shocks, it’s embarrassing that she smells like rotten saliva!

“I’ll leave you too, I need to dress up too,” she said.

Of course, she’s only acting.

She was about to get up to walk away from him, Red didn’t let her, which she expected. She’s only acting.

So she just sipped her coffee, then focused her attention there as an indication that she was waiting for Red’s explanation.

“Babe, I’m sorry, something important came up yesterday night…”

She secretly snorted. .

“… that I will tell you, soon,” he continued. “Right now it’s very hard to explain, but promise, soon, very very soon, I’ll tell you too,” Red pleaded.

She only responded to him with a meaningful glance. She conveys in that glance that she wanted to understand him but the question is, is it worth it?

Yes, he’s not yet ready to tell her, he won’t explain either. Another question is, when will he be ready?

He took her palm and squeezed it. Also added a light kiss there afterwards.

“Babe, sorry,” he whispered.

Sighing, she withdrew her own palm from his grasp. “Is there a sequel to that? If there isn’t, let me stand up now. I’ll dress up.”

He blew an air and let her go this time.

“Yeah, I’ll wait for you here,” Red even said.

She didn’t pay attention to the last thing he pointed out to her because she was really annoyed.

She didn’t know what to think. If she will continue to think about the wonders she feels or will she just let her boyfriend go on his trip, as long as his lack of her is not a big deal-or is it?

If it’s just a small thing for Red, why can’t he tell her about it?

As if she wouldn’t understand it. And that’s what hurts.

And why did he look at her like that? As if he’s asking her to understand him more and give him some time.

Or as if he’s asking her to just ignore whatever it is…
