Chapter 5 Found out
I stayed in his house overnight. We stay awake late at night having fun and moaning each other’s names. I think we fell asleep in the morning.
The next morning we went to university together. He accompanied me to his car. He opened the car door for me as we reached the university parking lot.
Other students looked at us as we walked. Frowning and there was astonishment on their faces as they stared at us. It seemed wrong in their eyes that Kian and I were together now.
That’s really wrong.
This day doesn’t seem normal to me either. No one tried to bully me. Especially the cheerleaders who often stone me with crumpled papers. I smiled to myself. Not that bad either. The perks of being Kian’s woman.
Kian drove me to the door of my first subject. We won’t be in the same class in my major subjects because we have different courses.
My classmates fell silent when they saw me. They did not laugh at me and did not say insulting words. The class was quiet until lunch break came. I went to the cafeteria.
Maybe I can eat peacefully now. I didn’t make my lunch this morning like I used to do.
I always eat alone under the Mahogany tree. I don’t have any friends to eat with. When I eat in the canteen, no one wants to share a table with me. I feel like a virus to them.
I was able to buy food without anyone trying to talk to me. I was also free to sit at a table to eat there.
The surroundings are quiet. Only the noises of the spoon can be heard. But after a few minutes, the canteen became noisy. A group of cheerleaders will enter the canteen. I gasped especially when they looked in my direction.
“How were you yesterday?” one of them asked me when they were in front of me. I didn’t answer instead I continued to eat my food.
“Is it fun?” I don’t know what they’re talking about. I breathed heavily, relieved when they left and sat at the other table.
I was finishing my meal when Kian’s group entered. His friends looked in my direction. My heart beats faster as they smiled at me. They stepped over to where I was.
“How are you? Did Kian make your body sore?” A friend of his asked me.
The other students gasped when they heard what this man asked me. Others who were curious and wanted to gossip even approached us. My eyes widened and I looked at Kian who was just silent and looked at the others.
“I still thought you wouldn’t hit Kian because you’re conservative. I lost the bet,” he said and laughed softly.
My eyes dimmed because of the tears that are starting to pour out of my eyes. I can’t believe what I’ve just heard and looked at Kian. I stared at him with questions in my eyes.
“You blackmailed me so that you can bed me. For what? For money?” I bravely asked him.
The video of Dave and me kissing is not a big deal, but I and Kian was a big hit! It will definitely spread throughout the university that Kian got me.
I approached Kian. “The video is mine, delete the video!” I shouted at him.
“There’s no video,” he replied and making me shocked even more.
I quickly placed my palm on his cheek for a slap. I looked at him sharply and then marched out of the canteen. I can’t believe I fell so easily into his trap.
“I like you. Ever since in high school, I like you. You’re so weird that I’m teasing you so you can notice me.”
Those words.
I believed.
I believed in his lies.
I restrained myself from sobbing. When I got out of the gate, there was already a taxi. I can’t go in anymore in my classes. I can’t endure this any longer. I don’t know but I thought maybe Kian and I had a sex video. I can’t really stand the embarrassment if there is and it will spread throughout the university.
When I got home I saw Mom and Dad’s car parked outside the house. I wiped away the tears first and made sure I looked good before I entered the house.
“Mom, Dad,” I greeted them warmly. I kissed their cheeks. I can’t see any happiness in their eyes so I felt worried.Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
“Ahm, I feel bad so I went home.” I excused myself even though they hadn’t asked me.
“Who was the man who came here yesterday,” Mom asked seriously. Dad was just quiet but you could see on his face that he was angry.
“D-Dave please,” I replied. What scares me is if Kian just fooled me by saying we didn’t have a video of Dave. Then that video reached already to my parents.
I feel I’m going sick.
“Okay, so why did you go to Kian’s house and sleep there? Do you have a relationship? What did you two do? How long have you been doing such a thing?” Mom asked simultaneously as her tone got higher and higher.
She almost had to strike me with whatever she could pick up.
“M-Mommy,” I called to her in a tearful tone. How can I tell them?
“Answer me, Beth,” Mommy’s authoritative voice made me feel fear even more.
“L-Last night was the f-first time,” I replied scared. I close my eyes in embarrassment. My God!
I waited for them to say more, but Mom said nothing. I turned my gaze to Dad in shock as he stood up violently. I was terrified of what he might do to me, because I can see his reaction now.
“I can’t allow my only child to be aggravated,” he said. My eyes widened.
What does Dad mean? Will he imprison Kian? But I am nineteen and no longer a minor. I was not raped. And if I say that he blackmailed me but I thought I don’t have any evidence. The victim’s statement is stronger when he or she is a minor.
We followed Dad as he left the house. I thought he was in the car straight away but he went to Kian’s house.
Oh no!
