Chapter 17
Chapter 17
Sandra’s POV
Her boyfriend had never been interested in having her around, but he had time to spare for a child he
had just met.
"What is this scumbag doing here?" Javier's eyes were ice-cold, and he was furious.
"Who are you referring to as a scumbag?"
"This lad"
"To begin with, I don't recall asking you to my home, and you came here and began criticizing my
guest. This is not your home; it is mine. When I marry you, we'll live in this home together. Don't come
over to my place and start behaving like Mrs. Hills. I reserve the right to alter my mind at any moment.
He then focused his attention on her. "How did you end up at my house?"
Sandra felt so humiliated that she hoped she could dig a hole and sneak inside.
"I came so that we could spend time together as two soon-to-be-married people. Is that what I'm doing
wrong?"
"Miss Williams, you are not my wife; you are my fiancée. You must notify me if you want to visit me.
Don't show up unannounced at my home; I don't remember inviting you to come in anytime you want.
I'm hosting guests and don't have time to spend with my fiancée right now."
"What is the nature of this relationship? You never touch me, and you never spend time with me. What
do you want from me? "
"Quite the opposite, Miss Williams. What do you want from me? "Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
"However, Javier, why did you engage me?"
"Oh, Miss Williams, if the ring is too heavy for you, take it off. Nobody is compelling you to do this. You
are free to go since I do not believe I will have time for this engagement at that time. I will create time
when I have it."
"Sandra stormed out of the mansion, exasperated. They've been dating for years, but she has no idea
who he is. She drove away.
Ethan went down to say his goodbyes.
Xavier was taken inside by Javier to be bathed. He was preoccupied with analyzing the kid who shared
his birthmark. This boy was a carbon replica of him. He attempted to recall any girls he had slept with
and had a child with, but none came to memory. He was tempted to have a DNA test, but he declined.
