Devoted To You

Chapter 20 I know you still hate me

The person there heard the news and immediately came over without stopping.

“Sorry to keep Mr. Walker waiting.” Mr. Gray had a smile on his face and was walking toward him in an antique suit.

Chandler turned around, not caring: today is the last day, you know what to do.”

“I’m so sorry.” Mr. Gray sniffed, with the characteristic fawning smile of a businessman. He wanted to keep a low profile, but the tone of his voice still revealed excitement: “Another boss just came over, and they offered a high price for the company. Now the company is no longer under my control.”

Chandler’s face fell and he got up and grabbed him by the lapels, questioning with anger, “You transferred the company?”

“Yes, I’m really sorry.” Facing his anger, Mr. Gray was calm and composed. After all, the money was already in the account, and in business, profit is the most important.

“Who told you to transfer!” He Chandler angrily questioned, “Who gave you the power to transfer it!”

Mr. Gray saw his face with thin anger, smiled curtly, but did not bow his head and admit his mistake, only said, “I am the owner of this company, whoever offers a high price, I will do business with.”

Chandler was stunned, and the strength in his hands gradually disappeared. Mr. Gray’s words were poking at his own sore spot.

“But Mr. Walker, if you really want it, perhaps you can go and talk to that person.” Mr. Gray hastened to save the situation.

He was no longer in the mood to dwell on the matter but was simply curious. He had his men check it out and led the way to that company.

When they got there, the receptionist led them upstairs. The company’s transparent glass doors on both sides were filled with people in a meeting, and Chandler took a look at them and silently withdrew his sight.

“The lounge is over here, please wait for a while, our boss will come out in a while.” The leader smiled and saw Chandler withdraw his eyes before leaving here.

There seemed to be a meeting going on next door, and a clear, calm voice came through the thin wall.

The voice was somewhat familiar to him and he didn’t react for a while. He froze in place and listened carefully.

This voice was so familiar that he couldn’t help but walk away to see what the person who could say such a voice looked like.

He felt like he was probably bewitched and went outside to look through the small gap. After seeing her eyebrows, he immediately pushed the door open again and walked in.

The meeting room was startled by this sudden noise, everyone turned to look over.

Chandler did not care about this, looking at the person standing not far away, wearing a small white suit, her hair sharply put up. Her eyebrows were as gentle as ever, but the gaze she looked at him was devoid of any emotion.

“Susan ….?” He called out her name with some uncertainty.

The meeting was interrupted and all eyes looked at him.

The secretary on the side stood up and reprimanded in a low voice: “Mr. Walker, this is our meeting place, please go out.”

Chandler looked at her as she picked up her things from the table and went on with her business as if she didn’t see him.

“Susan.” He stood frozen in place, looking across the table with surprise and joy.

Susan gently glanced at him, and then withdrew her gaze.

Seeing this, the secretary on the side came over with a blank face and forcefully asked him to leave: “Excuse me, Mr. Walker. We are in the middle of a meeting, please leave!”

“Susan, Susan …” he pushed the things in front of him away, his eyes straight on her. Susan, as if she hadn’t heard, tapped the table to pull back their attention.

The secretary saw the situation, subconsciously glanced at Susan, but saw her as nothing unusual, he also knew what to do.

Using the phone next to her, she notified the security office.

“Susan, you’re alive, you’re really alive.” He hurriedly tried to get to her.

She stopped the movement of her hands and stood indifferently. Didn’t speak or look at him.

The security guards came over quickly, all heavily armed. The secretary looked at them and commanded in a deep voice, “Get Mr. Walker out of here!”

They came straight towards him and spoke kindly, but their hands were not polite at all, “Mr. Walker please leave.”

Chandler froze and looked at Susan standing in place, he seemed demented, and repeatedly murmured the phrase, “You finally appeared in front of me, you finally stood in front of me again.”

“Mr. Walker, please cooperate.” The people around pulled, and when they saw that he didn’t move, someone directly took the electric bat out. The soreness and numbness came directly towards his stomach, and even then, he still raised his head and looked at Susan with fascination.

“I know you still hate me, and I know you don’t want to look at me anymore, Susan, I actually …”

The body was again sore and numb, and he gave a muffled grunt of pain. The dense sweat was already faintly visible on his forehead. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

He was so wretched, but he still watched with fascination and did not move his eyes away.

Alex heard the news and immediately rushed over. He saw this scene when he pushed the door in, and then looked at Susan, and saw that she had no expression, so he understood everything.

“Let him go.” He said indifferently, attracting the attention of many people.

The people around him immediately backed away, and he stumbled and almost fell to the ground.
